My Payment Failed in GoHire

How to regain access to GoHire if your payment fails.

Written by Nihad Cehic

If your payment has failed, don't worry—this is usually quick to resolve. Follow the steps below to retry your payment.

Step 1: Check your card details

Go to Settings → Billing and check that your card details are correct and up to date.

If you have recently received a new bank card or your expiry date has changed, update your payment details before trying again.

Step 2: Retry your payment

Once you've confirmed your card details are correct, scroll to the very bottom of the Billing page until you reach the Invoices section.

In the invoice list, click the orange Unpaid status.

Clicking Unpaid will trigger a new payment request through Stripe.

Step 3: Complete authentication

Depending on your bank, you may be asked to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) or another security check before the payment can be processed.

Simply follow the prompts from your bank to authorise the payment.

Still not working?

If your payment still isn't successful:

  • Try removing your existing card and adding a different payment card.

  • Some card types are not supported in certain countries through Stripe (e.g. AMEX can be temporamental)

  • If one card fails, another card from a different provider will often resolve the issue.

If you're still unable to complete payment after trying a different card, please contact the GoHire support team and we'll be happy to help.
